My name is Miata, and I am the founder of #ididitforlove. In 2014, I set out to write a book that would capture stories about the incredible things people do for love. Being a hopeless romantic, I found myself as the living embodiment of "doing things for love," and I was never ashamed to admit it. I created my first T-shirt, intending to give it to anyone willing to share their love story. Unfortunately, the book project didn't take off as I became immersed in school and embraced the role of a mom to my amazing 6-year-old. However, after distributing samples of the T-shirts to family and friends, I received numerous inquiries about purchasing them. And so, here we are today!

A few weeks into selling #ididitforlove, my daughter Saharah, at the tender age of 6, asked if she could design T-shirts for kids, becoming my unexpected but enthusiastic business partner!

“I did it for Love” is a community of people who believe that "love gives!" Our apparels are an extension of our original idea, which revolves around sharing stories about the extraordinary things we have done for love. Each time you wear one of our pieces, you are almost guaranteed to be asked, "What have you done for love?" We hope that you take the time to share your unique story!

Our stories allow others to catch a glimpse of who we are. Love stories are compelling because we all yearn to love and be loved. By sharing our stories of what we've done for love, we create an opportunity for reflection and connection with others with similar experiences.
